Jean-Michel Cousteau sails on the m/s Paul Gauguin in 2013.

Paul Gauguin Cruises, operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, has announced that world-renowned oceanographer and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau will guest host four sailings on the m/s Paul Gauguin in 2013.
  
Mr Cousteau is a diplomat for the environment, educator, author and film producer communicating his passion and concern for the Earth’s oceans. For more than 60 years, he, his father - the legendary Jacques Cousteau - and his family have been part of the greatest exploration of the oceans in all of history. In 1999, Mr Cousteau founded the Ocean Futures Society to explore global oceans, inspiring and educating people throughout the world to act responsibly for their protection, documenting the critical connection between humanity and nature, and celebrating the ocean’s vital importance to the survival of all life on our planet. Jean-Michel Cousteau - son of the legendary Jacques Cousteau - and his Ocean Futures Society created the Ambassadors of the Environment Youth Programme, which is a unique, groundbreaking programme that introduces young travellers to the extraordinary natural wonders of French Polynesia through direct, hands-on, interactive learning. The mission of the Ocean Futures Society is to explore our global oceans, inspiring and educating people throughout the world to act responsibly for their protection.
Under the guidance of expert Ocean Future Society naturalists, young Ambassadors (ages nine to 17) will explore coral reefs, learn about volcanic islands and forest ecology, experience Polynesian culture, hike rainforest trails, visit marae (ancient Polynesian temples) and more. Parents have an option to join their children on eco-excursions and other activities onboard and ashore.

PAUL GAUGUIN CRUISES UNVEILS m/v TERE MOANA’S 2013 ITINERARIES


Paul Gauguin Cruises, operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, unveils 2013 itineraries for the cruise line’s second ship—the 90-guest m/v Tere Moana—which will offer voyages in Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America.
 In the tradition of Paul Gauguin Cruises, cruise fares for The Moana are all-inclusive with gratuities, soft drinks, select wines and spirits included.
