The thing about adventure cruising is it takes to you to some amazing islands. One of  my favourites is the Isle of May in Scotland's Firth of Forth. It has so much history and changes everytime you go there. It's also full of surprises like Scotland's oldest light house and these puffins perching on a First world war officer's toilet!
I went there last year with Zegrahm Expeditions but yesterday I took the rib boat from North Berwick. There's a great blog you can follow about the island at http://isleofmaynnr.blogspot.com/

The Isle of May

Off to the Isle of May today about two miles northeast of the Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth. Photographing the wardens and interviewing the puffins! Is that the right way around?
Have a great day now.
