Bequia,

This Bequia in the The Grenadines and I had just bought this necklace for Caroline from the stall. Bequia is a tiny island raely visited by the large cruise ships as they can't get close in. I had gone there with Star Clippers on a Caribbean cruise.
Stepping ashore on the wooden jetty we entered into a time warp. The small church with names of British settlers from the 18th century set into its stained glass, the crabs scuttling across the road and the children with their tartan school dresses (10% of today’s population is of Scottish descent) on their way home after netball practice all seemed to take us back to a bygone age, even the pelicans and frigate birds circling above as we waited to return to the ship added to the feeling.
Have a greta day now.

Necklace in Bequia

This young lady is on the island of Bequia in the Windward Islands. She made this necklace from fishing wire and money beads and I was buying it for Caroline. Have a great day now.
