Inside Fingals Cave

This morning's image is about fifty yards inside Fingal's Cave on the Isle of Staffa. We were on a zodiac and as you can see it was a very sunny day outside the cave but you can get some idea of the columns. Chopping up logs this morning to get ready for the winter as our wood burning stove is an absolute gem. Have a good day.

  1. Went out to Fingal's Cave once on a very small boat. It was very rough and I was six months pregnant.. Lizzie was sick as a dog. It was so rough we never actually got to see inside the cave and all I really remember of the trip is the repeated pattern of sky and waves, and sky and waves, and the odd set of dentures going over the side. Happy chopping!
