Port Credit, ON. May 28, 2014:

Canada’s leading expedition operator, Adventure Canada, unveils its 2015 exploratory ocean and land-based trips in its newest catalogue, hot off the press. The 50-page, photo-rich resource features the adventure company’s recent accomplishments, partnerships, new sailings and signature voyages. The catalogue includes a comprehensive feature on Adventure Canada’s newest ship, Ocean Endeavour, with deck plans, an amenity guide and cabin details.

“We want to deliver a catalogue that is comprehensive and informative, but above all, worthy of the incredible destinations and programs featured in our 2015 schedule,” says Cedar Swan, Adventure Canada’s Vice President. “I think we’ve achieved this, and am truly excited to share the final product with the travelling public and Adventure Canada supporters.”

The twenty-seventh season begins June 14th, 2015 with Adventure Canada’s inaugural voyage through ‘la belle province,’ incorporating the rural coastal regions of Quebec’s North Shore, the Gaspe, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Magdalene Islands, and Saint Pierre, and ends in the marine-rich Galapagos Islands on November 1st, 2015. Adventure Canada’s signature sailings, such as the Northwest Passage and Newfoundland Circumnavigation also return in 2015.

Personal stories from Adventure Canada’s Resource Staff are spread throughout the pages, including insights on Inuit art from Carol Heppenstall, Director of Arts and Culture at Adventure Canada, photographer and naturalist Dennis Minty’s reflections about the Newfoundland and Labrador landscape, and a letter from Margaret Atwood describing the inspiration she's garnered from her multiple voyages with Adventure Canada.

Other highlights are Adventure Canada’s 2015 partnerships with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, The Walrus Foundation and Students on Ice.
