Here's an expedition to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, South Shetlands and Antarctica aboard Sea Explorer with Noble Caledonia.
Follow in the footsteps of famous researchers, pioneers, adventurers and discoverers on this expedition cruise to the sixth continent.
Although South Georgia is a couple of days extra steaming from Antarctica it is well worth the effort. Here you will experience one of the world’s natural wonders, the ‘Alps in mid-ocean’, offering remarkable concentrations of wildlife against a backdrop of glaciers and snow-covered mountains. Hugging the coast to the wildest reaches of the island you land on beaches alive with fur seals, elephant seals and truly astonishing numbers of king penguins.
Before disembarking in Montevideo you head for the Falkland Islands and The Antarctic peninsula. Departing 27th October 2015 and 28th January 2016.
