Freestyle Cruising® Alaska brochure in the UK –
Norwegian Cruise Line has launched its
2014 ‘Norwegians go wild in Alaska’ Freestyle Cruising brochure in the UK
Market. Available to order at www.trade-gate.co.uk, the brochure
highlights the line’s exciting cruises and fly-cruise packages as well as
CruiseTour land programmes guests can add to their Norwegian cruise booking in
Alaska.
The freedom and flexibility of sailing
with Norwegian Cruise Line offers an experience like no other. Throughout the
2014 season Norwegian Cruise Line will have one of the youngest fleets sailing
in the region, offering a choice of three ships – Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian
Jewel and Norwegian Sun.
Customers can choose from a variety of
sailings departing from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier visiting unique Alaskan
ports like Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway as well as natural highlights like
Sawyer Glacier or Glacier Bay.
Complementing the Norwegian cruise
experience, CruiseTours provide a truly comprehensive option for guests looking
to extend their stay, allowing the chance to explore the region’s natural
wilderness up close and personal.
Guests looking to explore Alaska’s
Denali National Park can choose from two CruiseTour packages. The 3- and 4-night
tours are fully escorted from beginning to end by local Alaskan guides, while
guests take in the unspoilt national landscapes from the famous Alaska Railroad
or from within the Denali National Park. The two packages can be booked in
combination with Norwegian Sun’s 7-night Glacier Bay from Vancouver or 7–night
Sawyer Glacier from Whittier.
For the first time customers will be
able to book their ‘Rocky Mountaineer’ experience through Norwegian, where
guests can explore the wild beauty of the Canadian Rockies on two different
packages, that combine a 7-night Alaska cruise with a 2- or 3-day luxurious
train ride on the Rocky Mountaineer and stops in Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise or
Calgary and both include a scenic helicopter flightseeing tour.
Francis Riley, vice president and
general manager international, Norwegian Cruise Line said: “We are thrilled to
be offering another great selection of Alaskan sailings and add-on land packages
to customers for the 2014 season. Alaska offers some of the most spectacular
scenery in the world and to be able to see and experience it with Norwegian adds
a new dimension to the region’s exploration.
“As a result of the popularity of last
year’s itineraries, we have again teamed with some of the best local guides to
give our guests amazing shore excursions, as well as exciting opportunities to
combine our signature Freestyle Cruising with an immersive land tour adventure –
an experience not to be missed.”
